All it takes is for the injection beneath the skin on the front of the chin a volume of Juvaderm enough to make a significant difference to the receding chin, and subsequent manipulation of the filler to form an aesthetically pleasant-looking strong chin. The effect will last up to one year before the progressive natural reabsorption of this harmless filler makes the patient more conscious of his appearance and opt to go for another non-surgical chin implant.

The G-spot, or Grafenburg spot, is an area of extreme sensitivity in the front wall of the vagina which if stimulated during sex, enhances the pleasure in a woman, making it easier for her to reach orgasm.  However the location of this spot is rather vague, as it cannot normally be felt without a certain degree of difficulty.  The penis is not normally well equipped to reach this spot during sexual activity.  It thus is considered good if one can make this area more prominent and more reachable.

This procedure of injection of cosmetic fillers such as Juvaderm is considered safe in experienced hands.  The procedure is as yet not approved by FDA as a recommended use for fillers.  However this does not stop a few practitioners from doing so on the quiet, especially more so if there are women who will not mind new and safe procedures to enhance their sexual pleasure.

Injection into the lines is done after adequate anesthesia via injection of lidocaine 2% or application of numbing gel or ice packs. After injection, the filler is massaged to break up lumps and to enhance the smooth effect for a perfect picture.

Side effects of Juvederm injection will include the typical side effects such as a swelling of the skin around the injection site, which is also partly due to manipulation, redness, and bruising or discoloration.  The bruising that may occur is more common if the patient has been on anticoagulants or blood thinners.  Sometimes skin irritation may also occur.  Side effects tend to last at most up to one week.  You should not have Juvaderm injections if you have a history of allergy to Gram positive bacterial proteins, or a history of severe allergic reactions such as anaphylaxis, or a history of severe multiple allergies.

If the procedure has been done in a non-hygienic manner, there will be a risk of infection of the injection site.  Similarly injection of Juvaderm into persons who are on immunosuppressives, or whose immunity is severely compromised, the risk of infection is increased.

Laser treatment or chemical peeling should not be used at the same time as Juvaderm treatment, as this increases the chance of an inflammatory response.

Although there are no known problems of side effects in pregnant women or breast feeding women injected with Juvaderm, studies have not been done because it is ethically not acceptable to subject pregnant women to exposure to any medication of any sort as part of a study.  Thus usage of Juvaderm in pregnant or breastfeeding women is not encouraged.  The incidence of side effects of Juvederm in pregnant or breastfeeding women is estimated to be no different from that of the normal population.

Lip injections are technically more difficult and demand a much higher degree of skill in the administration of Juvaderm that for other filler procedures such as for the nasolabial fold.  It is thus imperative that you choose your esthetic practitioner carefully and ask him to show you examples of his past work before you decide on who to use as your esthetic doctor.

Lip injections for bigger lips with Juvaderm are performed under local anesthesia, this time achieved by the injection of lignocaine into the nerves supplying the sensation of both the upper and lower lips.  Anesthesia obtained by application of local anesthetic gel such as Emla is not so suitable as the degree of numbness obtained is not satisfactory.

There are two areas of consideration in lip injections for bigger lips.  One is the increased definition of the vermilion border.  The other is the actual increase in volume of the lip needed.  A third, no less important consideration is whether the upper, or lower lip, or both, need to have the volume increased.  All these have to be discussed and decided upon by both the patient and doctor well before the procedure before anything is done, to avoid legal implications.

Injection of Juvaderm usually starts near the corner of the lips and works its way toward the center.  However technics vary depending on the practitioner.  The injected area is manipulated and molded during and after the injection of Juvaderm to ensure ideal shaped bigger lips.  Immediately after lip injections the lips tend to be more swollen than the ideal results because of manipulation.  It is thus advised that the patient returns after at least one week for reassessment and reinjection of Juvaderm for bigger lips, if necessary.

The most common treatment for the nasolabial fold is to fill it with Juvaderm (also known as Juvederm or Juviderm), which is a very safe cross linked hyaluronic acid injectable facial filler gel.  Juvaderm has been put through a process called hylacross, which renders the gel more smooth and easier to inject.

Injection of Juvaderm is done usually as a lunchtime procedure, the process taking usually less than an hour.  Injection is done under local anesthetic, either administered as a locally applied anesthetic gel, or by injection of lignocaine into the regional nerves that supply sensation to the skin around the nasolabial folds.

After adequate local anesthetic, the face filler gel is gradually introduced into the skin under the nasolabial fold, usually in a linear retrograde fashion, and the area carefully massaged and molded as the skin fills up and the nasolabial fold becomes shallower and flattens out.  Usually about one syringe of Juvaderm is used for the nasolabial fold on each side.  The desired result is when the nasolabial fold has disappeared, together with the deep hollow that exists at the upper end of the fold, next to the nostrils.

After the injection of Juvaderm, the patient is allowed to go back to work with barely noticeable swelling, but with well corrected nasolabial fold.  Follow-up is about a week after the initial appointment, in order to assess the results after localised swelling has lessened, and for top-up of more Juvaderm is necessary.

Juvederm (commonly also referred to as Juvaderm, or Juviderm), is an injectable face filler gel made from cross-linked hyaluronic acid.  This hyaluronic acid has gone through a patented process known as Hylacross that has rendered the gel smoother for easier injection.  Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring substance in the body, and together with collagen and elastin, forms the major component of the volume of the extracellular matrix of the layer under the skin.  Hyaluronic acid in its natural form lasts barely a couple of days if injected into the body.  Thus the cross-linkage is necessary to allow the hyaluronic acid to last up to one year in the body after injection.  This factor obviously has to be considered in calculating the cost of Juvederm injection.

So how much does Juvaderm or Juvederm cost?  A lot depends on the volume of the filler used.  On the average the amount of Juvaderm used for injection per nasolabial fold is about a 0.8ml syringe.  Lip injections for bigger lips may need up to 2 syringes.  Generally the other face wrinkles will need less than one syringe.  Additionally the costs will vary depending on the degree of difficulty of the procedure (creation of bigger lips with Juvaderm demands a much higher degree of skill than filling the nasolabial fold, which in turn is more difficult than, say, lifting of a depressed scar), the skill of the aesthetic practitioner and his qualifications (a nurse will obviously charge less than a highly-skilled plastic surgeon), and the location of the clinic, both within the country and overseas.

Costs in the United States will vary from $600 to $2500.  In Asia, especially Thailand, costs are much lower, from $350 and up.  A lot of people find that the price that one pays in the USA or Europe for a particular procedure of wrinkle removal with Juvaderm can cover the same procedure in some exotic Far East countries such as Thailand as well as hotel stay and a holiday.

Hyaluronic acid (also called hyaluronan or hyaluronate) is a non-sulfated glycosaminoglycan.  It is widely seen in the tissues throughout the body such as the skin, muscles and tendons. It forms a major component of the extracellular matrix,  that is, the non-cellular part of the human tissue that provides structural support for the human cells. The volume advantage of hyaluronic acid is two-fold: the actual volume injected plus the property of hyaluronic acid to absorb water to make up even more volume.

Because the hyaluronic acid of Juvaderm is not prepared from animal sources, there is minimal risk of allergic reactions.

Hyaluronic acid fillers like Juvaderm are used as injectable wrinkle fillers to fill up wrinkles in the skin as well as augmentation of the lips and to fill up hollow spaces such as the cheeks and sunken scars in the body.  The most common wrinkles that are treated in the face by Juvaderm are the nasolabial folds, which have a tendency to deepen with age and make one look even older.  Other wrinkles in the face are als0 treatable with Juvaderm, such as forehead wrinkles, crows feet, frown lines, and marionette lines.  Lip injections with Juvaderm to create bigger lips are fast gaining popularity as bigger lips are noted to be much sexier.  Hollow cheeks that are commonly seen in emaciated persons, and depressed scars such as seen in acne and chickenpox scars are also commonly corrected with Juvaderm.

Non-surgical nose reshaping is fast gaining in popularity in persons who would normally balk at the thought of going under the knife in order to get a better-looking nose.  Although the effect is not permanent, Juvaderm still lasts up to a year after injecting and it affords a much cheaper way to look better.
